spicy spirulina & tamari kale chips
Yummy, crunchy chips without any oil? Yes, it’s possible!
Ingredients
½ large bunch of green kale
1 clove of garlic minced
½ inch piece of ginger minced
1 tbsp. nutritional yeast
1 tbsp. tamari
1 tbsp. hemp seeds
1 tsp. maple syrup
1 tsp. spirulina powder
½ tsp. chipotle
Method
Gently rinse the kale, then cut off the hard stems using a knife or scissors.
Chop or tear up the kale into desired size and place into a large mixing bowl.
Add all the remaining ingredients and massage the kale to evenly combine the flavors.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper, then evenly spread out the marinated kale.
Dry in the oven on fan function at 150°C for 3 hours, or until the edges brown.
Let cool before storing in an airtight container.
